StreamZ Technology Questions

What is different between StreamZ and traditional magnetic therapy?

Traditional static magnets have been around for thousands of years with no definitive clinical evidence proving once-and-for-all that they work, or how they work. Despite this, they are heavily marketed to support a wide variety of physiological conditions such as arthritis, inflammation, pain relief, and long-term degenerative mobility issues. The majority of these traditional products use low-cost neodymium magnets manufactured for electronic speakers.

Traditional magnetic devices contain static magnets which range in magnetic strength (measured in gauss levels). How they help the user is a mystery, what we do know is that static magnets, when placed against the body absorb and reflect ambient body heat.

This thermal increase can be easily seen using medical thermal imaging technology on a limb with a traditional magnetic device attached. In many real-world scenarios—such as directly after strenuous exercise, during injury rehabilitation, or when the body is in 'recovery mode'—applying artificial heat should be strictly avoided. It is this heat-trapping effect, in our opinion, which has tarnished the alternative-therapy industry as many products are incorrectly marketed.

StreamZ unique Advanced 360º Bio-Resonance Technology operates on an entirely different structural principle and does not contain any static magnets.

This entirely new approach to the non-invasive wellness industry creates a continuous 360º spinning energy field horizontally around the limb. Because this unique resonance technology interacts with the body at a cellular level rather than using static friction, absolutely zero thermal energy is produced by StreamZ.

Advanced Magnetism is here, Bio-Resonance Rebalancing by StreamZ.

How strong are StreamZ magnets? (Companies talk about “Gauss levels”)

The ‘strength’ of a traditional magnetic device indicates how far the magnetic field travels from the magnets surface, and it is this ‘pulsating process’ which is used in traditional products. This is often referred to as the "magnetic gauss level".

StreamZ unique Advanced Magnetic Technology is not measured in the same way as traditional magnetic therapy products. Put simply, StreamZ is far more advanced!

StreamZ unique silicone material creates horizontally focussed magnetic fields which run through the revolutionary silicone design, creating 'a spin' – this spinning process creates no pulse and therefore does not use the measurement of its gauss level to create its effects.

Within StreamZ manufacturing process there are several magnetic frequencies added to the material, which when measured on their own show gauss levels of 56μT, 5600 gauss. It is worth emphasising however that this energy field is applied in a non invasive way (horizontal polarity) so this reading is entirely irrelevant when comparing StreamZ with traditional magnetic products.

Is the StreamZ magnetic product range clinically proven?

All our studies are carried out on LIVE horses, because of this they are not peer reviewed.

We have industry leading studies published on our tests and studies page.

Studies which are published on medical journals are very rarely carried out on live animals. An authoritative piece on our subject, carried out by Dr David Marlin, looked at boot insulation and heat testing of various options to cool a horses leg. This managed to get peer reviewed. How? How did they eradicate the variables? To remove those variables, the study bypassed live animals entirely: they used a metal flask to replicate the leg. While a metal flask is great for measuring the raw physics of fabric insulation whilst removing/controlling all variables, a metal flask does not replicate a live animal! Metal has no vascular system, it doesn't sweat, and it doesn't have an immune or nervous response.

StreamZ was tested via advanced medical thermography on live, active horses to prove that our unique resonance technology supports the horse's natural biology without creating a dangerous, artificial heat trap. Studies were carried out on live animals using industry leading monitoring software.

Whilst the technology and product range are not clinically proven, they are extensively studied providing significant efficacy evidence.

What is the difference between StreamZ and Copper Bracelets?

We are often asked this by wearers of copper bracelets how StreamZ differs.

Similar to static magnets used in many low-cost magnetic devices copper bracelets are used as an indicator of health issues, copper products do not offer pain relief and this is often misunderstood or in many cases poorly advertised.

Copper has an antibacterial effect because germs and bacteria cannot survive on the material. It is this reason why copper pots were used for thousands of years for human water consumption and were used to indicate whether the water was pure enough to drink. The copper pots didn’t clean the water, they simply acted as a guide of the waters purity. People who claim to have received health benefits, such as arthritis pain relief, from their copper products should investigate this for themselves.

StreamZ technology contains no copper and was not developed to be used as a visual aid, it was developed to ‘make a difference’.

StreamZ are incredibly proud to have clinical efficacy support from Writtle University for use on on horses and dogs and further studies continue across the world.

No peer-review studies have been carried out.

What is different about StreamZ and 'hologram wristbands' which 'release ions'?

Ha! Sorry, we'll just pick ourselves up off the floor.

From a standpoint of standard chemistry and physics, a basic metallic or plastic sticker applied to the skin simply doesn't possess the mechanisms required to generate, store, or transmit ions (charged particles) across the skin barrier.

The idea that hologram sticker can release ions or interact with the body's "bio-electric field" is marketing spin popular with the brand you mention but it completely lacks scientific validation. If a company claims a flat hologram sticker is releasing ions into your skin to heal you, they are selling a marketing gimmick. If you feel better while wearing one, enjoy the benefits of the placebo effect—but rest assured, there is no actual chemical or ionic transfer happening at the skin level.

In 2010, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) took legal action against the most famous maker of holographic wristbands in the world. That company was forced to release a public admission stating: "We admit that there is no credible scientific evidence that supports our claims."

If you have had a great experience from holograms in the past, what do you think happened?

Our technology is totally different.

Do StreamZ supply Safety Data Sheets?

StreamZ technology do not require data sheets as our products are worn externally and not ingested.

Formerly known as, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) the information Safety Data Sheets (SDS) hold are vital when transporting chemicals and hazardous materials. Safety Data Sheets must be provided to a customer if a substance or mixture is hazardous or contains certain substances.

Does Magnetic Therapy increase blood flow?

No. This has never been proven; and with technologies such as Ultrasound and MRI monitoring it would have been easily proven by now. Why and how static magnets help reduce pain to humans and animals is a mystery surrounded in theories.

Some claim that static magnets interact with the iron in the blood. Whilst elemental iron is ferromagnetic and strongly attracted to magnets, the iron found within hemoglobin in the blood is in a different chemical form, resulting in a much weaker magnetic interaction that is not strong enough to interact with external static magnetic fields.

The theory that "magnets influence iron in the blood to improve circulation" is a myth - supported by clinical studies showing that the human body is not significantly affected by typical static magnetic fields.

MRI machines would be deadly to us too!

Why do traditional static neodymium magnets create heat?

They don't.

The sensation of heat found when wearing a magnetic therapy device is absolutely real. However, rigorous clinical and thermodynamic testing has proven that the heat does not come from the magnets.

So where does it come from?
If you use a traditional neodymium based magnetic horse boot; you'll see how the leg becomes hot. Why is this? What is happening to create that heat? Is it the magnets?

Controlled scientific studies tracking skin and deep-tissue temperature during magnetic wrap placement have repeatedly demonstrated that therapeutic magnets fail to generate any heat on their own, nor do they alter resting blood flow to create metabolic heat.

Magnets do not interact with iron in the blood. So, what is going on?

Our opinion is this:

1. Localised Body Heat Trapping (The Insulator Effect)

The primary driver of the warmth is the material construction of the boot or wrap.

  • To hold neodymium or ferrite magnets securely in position and so they are comfortable to wear, manufacturers use thick, dense textiles—most commonly padded materials such as sponges, neoprene or heavy nylon laminates.
  • Neoprene (as one example) is a synthetic rubber packed with tiny nitrogen gas bubbles, making it an exceptional thermal insulator (which is why it is used for scuba wetsuits).
  • When strapped tightly to your skin, the material completely traps your ambient body heat and prevents the evaporation of sweat. Your body naturally radiates roughly 100 watts of heat at rest; blocking its escape causes a rapid, localised spike in skin temperature.

2. The Ceramic Heat Sink Phenomenon

Low-cost neodymium static magnets are made of ferrite or ceramic composites. These materials have a high thermal mass but are relatively slow to conduct heat.

  • When you first apply the wrap, the magnets are at room temperature and feel normal temperature.
  • Once the magnets reach equilibrium with your body temperature, they act as solid thermal barriers. Because they sit directly over the tissue, they prevent convective airflow, forcing the trapped heat backward into your skin layers.

Shipping Questions

What shipping options do you offer?

StreamZ have two delivery options available to customers in the UK.

STANDARD DELIVERY - which uses Royal mail 48hr service and is FREE of charge.

EXPRESS DELIVERY - which uses Royal Mail 24hr service.

Saturday Delivery Option - This is sent recorded delivery (on Fridays only) and is 'best intentions' by Royal Mail.

Shipping days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.

I am in the EU, will I pay import duty?

Yes, all EU countries will charge import duty on deliveries from the UK, but, being in the EU you will not charged VAT (which is 20%).

The import duty will normally be similar to VAT so you will not be paying more than customers in the UK.

Each country in the EU has its own customs and duties who will contact you directly using the contact information entered on your order.

What does "Back Order" mean?

Back Order means the item is currently "out of stock" but is due in shortly and will be shipped when booked back in.

Does StreamZ operate IOSS shipments to the EU?

As a consumer, the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) makes a lot of sense on face value for simplifying deliveries into the EU. However, the operational reality behind the scenes is very different. Like many UK companies, we closely evaluated implementing the IOSS framework.

StreamZ DO NOT operate IOSS facilities, here is why:

As a UK-based business, several structural and regulatory limitations prevent us from doing so effectively:

  • Post-Brexit Regulations: Non-EU businesses are legally barred from registering directly for IOSS. It requires appointing an EU-based fiscal proxy who assumes joint legal and financial liability for the account. The overhead and structural costs associated with managing this make it unsustainable for an independent business of our size, especially when standard Delivered At Place / Delivered Duties Unpaid (DDU) channels are readily available. Because we ship extensively worldwide, our team is highly experienced in managing international customs compliance.
  • Order Threshold Limits: The IOSS system only accommodates consumer orders under a value of €150. Because a significant portion of our shipments exceed this threshold or involve business-to-business (B2B) transactions, we are required to maintain our standard international shipping frameworks regardless.
  • System Discrepancies: Operationally, data handshakes between non-EU platforms and regional EU customs hubs still frequently result in double-taxation errors at the border, leading to major delivery delays for the recipient.

To ensure the most reliable transit path possible, we rely on our established international carrier network using standard Delivered Duties Unpaid (DDU) channels. You pay the local tax and processing fees to your regional customs authority when it arrives in your country—just as any international client does.

IMPORT VAT

Since 2021, the EU has removed all tax-free minimums for VAT; every single commercial item entering the EU faces local import VAT. To balance this, we do not charge EU customers UK VAT (which saves you 20% at our checkout). While UK customers must pay this tax to us, EU customers do not. Instead, you pay your country's local import VAT rate (e.g., 19% in Germany, 20% in France/Italy) directly to the courier before the item clears customs.

CUSTOMS DUTY (The 2026 Shift)

Historically, items under €150 were completely exempt from customs duties. However, the EU is actively phasing out this €150 duty exemption framework.

  • Orders shipped before July 1, 2026: Shipments under €150 face €0.00 in standard customs duty because the historical exemption remains active.
  • Orders shipped after July 1, 2026: The EU's new transitional rules kick in. The €150 exemption is abolished and replaced with a flat-rate customs duty of €3 (approx. £2.50) per item classification. (Note: This new €3 duty applies to all low-value imports, including those sent via IOSS). By November 2026, an additional harmonised EU handling fee of approximately €2 per parcel is expected to be introduced to cover border inspection costs.

In Summary: If you want to buy from StreamZ from the EU then you are charged no VAT by us but your local tax office will. This external link may help you workout what your final costs may be: https://www.simplyduty.com/import-calculator/

FAQ or Troubleshooting on EQU StreamZ bands:

How can I share my feedback with StreamZ followers?

You can leave a review, but our Shine the light series is a wonderful way to give your horse a 'moment of fame'. Get in contact with our team who can tell you all about it.

How long do EQU StreamZ horse Bands last?

With proper care, the bands can last for years. The magnetic technology does not wear out, but replacing them if damaged is recommended. Spares outer sleeves are available to prolong the lifespan of your initial purchase.

What legs should the EQU StreamZ bands be fitted too?

Each horse wears two bands, one on any two legs – results have been found to be the same with bands placed on both front or hind legs, or in any combination.

Wearing on two legs provides full body coverage.

Clinical studies carried out have had the bands placed on the near fore and off hind to provide consistency. For clinical purposes the bands were placed below the fetlock; although results across the board when worn above have made little difference.

Our advise is therefor that horses turned out should have the bands placed ABOVE the fetlock, when turned in or on box rest the bands should be placed BELOW the fetlock.

Can I wash my EQU StreamZ horse bands?

Yes, easily. Simply wash in COLD WATER by hand. If washing in a machine on cold setting, we suggest you remove the StreamZ silicone strips from the open end of the bands (underneath the tongue) and wash on a cold/hand wash setting.

Do not wash in hot water. Failure to wash in cold water only may result in the failure of the fastening hooks.

Should I remove the bands when riding?

Yes, we advise removing the bands when riding.

Should I remove EQU StreamZ bands if turned out in the snow?

EQU StreamZ bands are suitable for use in all weather conditions. This includes hot weather, snow, rain and everything in between.

As with any tack, it is important that tack fitted anywhere on their legs are not submerged in snow/mud for long periods of time. This can lead to further complications including conditions such as mud fever.

Will these bands cause my horse to sweat?

Yes, they can—and that is completely normal.

Just like a saddle, a saddle pad, or a protective leg boot, any piece of equipment that sits securely against your horse's body will naturally reduce airflow and create a localised sweat patch during work. Sweat is simply proof that your horse's natural cooling system is working.

Our bands are designed with non-toxic neoprene webbing and developed to minimise excessive heat buildup, but you should expect to see some sweat patterns under the bands after a good workout—just as you do when you untack your saddle.

If your horse is showing signs of skin discomfort when wearing the bands this is likely to be related to skin sensitivity issues.

Are EQU StreamZ bands waterproof?

EQU Streamz bands can be used in all weather conditions however the material within the outer sleeves will absorb water and as such are not by definition 'waterproof' - although the product will not be damaged by being placed in water.

I have lost a StreamZ strip from my EQU StreamZ bands, what can be done?

The design of the EQU StreamZ bands allows the StreamZ magnetic strip to slide in or out from one end, on the inside of the webbing alongside the hook and loop tongue. This allows the product to be washed in a machine, on a cold setting only.

There are only a few reasons that a magnetic strip could be lost as basic physics prevents the silicone strip from falling out when wrapped around the horses leg:

It is stuck to the inside of the washing machine or in the floor next to the stable door.

The outer sleeve has been damaged by the horse and the strip has fallen out. It would need quite a large hole/rip for the strip to fall out though.

It has fallen out when in the tack room/stable and no one has realised. (it’s probably on the floor still).

Please note that the product does come with a refund/return process, but this excludes general wear-and-tear which includes the horse damaging the bands. Damaged bands are not included within the warranty process, as with any tack manufacturers. Our support team may be able to help so please do get in touch. A replacement strip incurring a small charge may be offered to you, if available at the time and at the full discretion of StreamZ Global. If you feel your product does have a defect then please get in touch.

Can replacement sleeves be purchased for my EQU StreamZ bands?

Yes we supply replacement sleeves.

What is the life expectancy of a pair of EQU StreamZ bands?

The StreamZ energy field is consistent and does not dissipate over time; the energy field there for lasts for many years.

Horses who wear the bands 24x7 in all weather conditions will naturally require replacements sooner than horses who are turned in and use the bands a few hours each evening.

The sleeves themselves are an aesthetic product and there for have a lifespan dependant on how they are cared for and maintained. Replacement are available here.

Warranty on StreamZ magnetic products is 12 months from the date of purchase (6 months with wristbands), but please note this does not include aesthetic wear-and-tear or damage, or cover how the products have been maintained and cared for.

If you feel there is an issue with the product please get in touch with our team.

StreamZ Global continue to evolve the range using new technologies and materials to improve the product. As such we recommend updating EQU Streamz bands every 2-3 years. Discounts are available to existing customers.

Can I use EQU StreamZ bands for other animals?

EQU StreamZ bands are specifically designed for horses, but StreamZ Global offers similar technology for dogs and humans.

My bands have been damaged. What can I do?

Our support team may be able to help. Replacement sleeves can be purchased and we do have 'tips and tricks' which could help stop them being damaged again.

Is it beneficial for my horse to wear four bands (two pairs)?

Initial studies showed that two bands (one pair) provided the rebalancing effect that the majority of horses required.

It has however been reported to us on several occasions that horses who are severely arthritic have benefitted from wearing 4 bands (two pairs).

How do I know if EQU StreamZ bands are working for my horse?

Look for signs of increased mobility, relaxation, and overall comfort in your horse’s movement and behaviour.

It can take several weeks to really show with some conditions.

If you are concerned they are not working, check the bands are not damaged and that the strips inside are facing the correct way around. (4-ridges face away from skin, smooth side against the skin). Contact our team who can offer advice.

How do I leave a review for EQU StreamZ bands?

You can visit our product page and leave a verified review. Verified reviews are fully managed by our review partner (judge.me).

Revuiews mean the world to us. If you do have an issue, please give us a chance to solve it before leaving a negative review and contact our team today.

Can my horse with CPL use StreamZ bands?

Yes, but with caution.

Because a CPL horse has highly compromised skin, they are at a much higher risk for friction rubs and skin sores if any leg wear is fitted incorrectly. This makes using bands on a horse with CPL more complicated.

Because the lymph fluid doesn't drain, waste products get trapped in the lower leg tissue. This causes the skin to lose its natural elasticity and overproduce keratin. The skin can become thick, hard, wooden, and prone to deep, painful cracks and fissures that act like open wounds.

The lymphatic system is a core part of the horse's immune defense. When the lymph drainage in the lower leg fails, that specific area loses its ability to fight off minor skin irritations. A tiny rub that a healthy horse would shrug off can easily spiral into a massive, painful flare-up of cellulitis or pastern dermatitis ("scratches") on a CPL horse.

We have heard that some people say not to use magnetic therapy on horses with CPL as "magnets increase circulation and blood flow to the affected areas". They say this is achieved by iron being highly magnetic and interacting with external magnetic fields.

This is factually (and clinically) incorrect.

Whilst elemental iron is ferromagnetic and strongly attracted to magnets, the iron found within hemoglobin in the blood is actually a different chemical formula, resulting in a much weaker magnetic interaction which is not strong enough to interact with external static magnetic fields.

So, Magnets increase blood flow is just a myth.

StreamZ make no claim that our technology (which differs greatly to magnets anyway) increase blood flow either.

With CPL, it is important to introduce the bands gradually and monitor closely for adverse skin reaction, or any immune responses.

Because CPL skin lacks normal elasticity and traps moisture easily, the bands must never be over-cinched. Looser is better—the resonance technology doesn't require a tight fit to work, and over-tightening will easily tear or irritate that fragile, compromised skin.

We recommend you consult with a veterinarian if you are unsure.

Since using the bands my horse's legs have become swollen.

To provide some reassurance, the materials used in our bands are completely inert and non-reactive, meaning there are no active chemicals inherent to the product that could cause an inflammatory reaction on their own.

In the absence of trapped heat or external debris, a localized response is typically physiological rather than chemical. On horses with highly sensitive skin, the repetitive movement and friction of the band against the hair follicles during exercise or turnout can cause the skin to flag a "micro-trauma" response. This can lead to localized swelling or mild hives directly under the area of contact.

Because every horse possesses a unique level of skin sensitivity and coat thickness, this type of friction response is very rare.

This is an individual biological reaction rather than a product defect; the exact same pair of bands can be worn by numerous other horses without any issues at all. If your horse has hyper-sensitive skin, our bands may not be suitable for that particular horse.

Are EQU StreamZ bands suitable for Minature Shetlands?

Yes. The bands wrap around the cannon bone.

Because Shetlands are incredibly hardy draught-type animals, they actually have a very high bone-to-weight ratio compared to full-sized horses. For context, while a standard 500 kg riding horse might have a 19 cm to 20 cm cannon bone, a tiny 180 kg Shetland boasts a comparatively thick 14 cm bone to support its stocky build.

The average mid-front cannon bone circumference for a standard Shetland pony (34" to 42") is right around 14 cm. Miniature Shetlands (under 34”) typically have a cannon bone circumference between 11.5 cm and 13 cm. The bands are 32cm on the inside, so in most cases will be wrapped twice around the leg. Even when wrapped twice, they band sitting against the leg is less than 1cm wide—making them sleeker and thinner than any other product on the market.

The bands are intentionally designed as one-size-fits-all. The universal design is incredibly handy for owners, as it means the same bands can be easily shared across multiple horses.

FAQ or Troubleshooting on EQU StreamZ Coolboots:

What comes in a pack of EQU StreamZ Coolboots?

INCLUDED IN BOX:
2 x Coolboots including Dual-StreamZ®
2 x Cold Packs (Gel, do not freeze solid)
1 x Drawstring tack room bag
1 x Instructions poster

When and when not to use the Cold Packs?

Our 'Coolboot protocol' should answer that...

Everyday Cooling (not using Cold Packs) after exercise:
use for 10 to 30 minutes. Repeat the cooling process if necessary.

Deep-Tissue Treatment (using Cold Packs) 2-3 times per day:
use for 10-30 minutes directly on/closest to the injury.

Are they working? My horse's legs feel warn after use.

When you remove a traditional ice boot and the leg feels freezing, you haven't healed the deep tissues; you have simply shocked the surface skin into an artificial lockdown. You are feeling the superficial illusion of cold while the deep tendons underneath are trapped in a micro-vascular battle against the Hunting Response.

Advanced cooling technology does not turn your horse’s legs warm. Its goal is gentle temperature regulation, cooling.

When you take off a true cooling boot and the limb feels normal, neutral, or slightly warm, it is proof of a healthy, functioning thermodynamic process. It means the boot successfully drew out the dangerous, spiking core heat from the tendons and dissipated it safely into the air, all without shocking the blood vessels or triggering a defensive inflammatory surge.

Article of interest:'The Real Difference Between Icing and Cooling a Horse’s Leg'

How long should I soak the Coolboots in water for?

Until they are fully submerged and saturated fully. You do not need to leave the boots soaking for an extended period of time. It is recommended that you use as cold water as possible. Once fully soaked, do not forget to vigorously shake the boots and active the cooling materials.

Can my horse wear EQU StreamZ Coolboots 24x7?

Yes; the Coolboots are suitable for 24x7 use as boots (not cooling boots), if stabled and on box rest. Do not use the Coolboots in turnout; see EQU StreamZ Bands for 24x7 use.

Remove the Cold Packs when using for longer than 60 minutes as the Cold Packs will begin to warm by the horse's body temperature.

How long will the Coolboots stay cold for?

That depends — just like an ice cube, how long your Coolboots (and your horse’s legs) stay cold depends on multiple factors: ambient temperature, whether the Cold Packs are being used or not, the horse’s own leg temperature and circulation, and any movement.

Coolboot protocol:

Everyday Cooling (no Cold Packs) after exercise:
use for 10 to 30 minutes. Repeat the cooling process if necessary. Most beneficial when used for 20-30 minutes on each leg.

Deep-Tissue Treatment (using Cold Packs):
use for up to 30 minutes, optimum for 10-30 minutes directly on/closest to the injury, 2-3 times per day.

However, based on veterinary research and practical cryotherapy protocols, here’s a reasoned estimate (and what we designed our product around):

  • Published equine cryotherapy studies frequently use 20–30 minutes of cold application as an effective standard. ResearchGate+3PMC+3AVMA Journals+3
  • In a classic limb ice-immersion trial, applying cold for 30 minutes reduced laminar tissue temperatures by ~11.6 °C. AVMA Journals+1
  • Comparative cooling studies show that ice boots often lose residual cooling quicker than water immersion or hosing methods—but 20–30 minutes is still accepted as a practical therapeutic window. Eurodressage+2The Plaid Horse Magazine+2

Based on that, EQU StreamZ Coolboots are engineered to maintain optimum temperature control for up to 30 minutes when worn correctly and in moderate ambient temperatures, without the need in using the Cold Packs.

That aligns with the window in which cooling yields the maximum therapeutic benefit (reduced inflammation, vasoconstriction, analgesia, slowed metabolism).

In practice, the actual cooling duration may vary. If temperatures are high, if contact is imperfect, or if the horse shifts the boots, the effective period may be shorter. Conversely, under cool ambient conditions and excellent contact, beneficial cooling may persist for longer.

For safety, when using the Cold Packs we recommend not exceeding 30 minutes per session unless under veterinary or physiotherapy guidance, and always monitoring the leg for signs of overcooling (e.g. skin blanching).

(→ See our blog post "The Importance of Keeping Your Horse’s Legs Cool After Exercise" on the EQU StreamZ site for tips on how to get the most from your Coolboots.)”

Further independent data will be made available soon on the impact the Coolboots have using thermography. Initial findings support the claims made above.

What are the weights of the Coolboots when dry/wet?

Dry Coolboot with no Cold Pack = 220 grams
Wet Coolboot with no Cold Pack = 250 grams
Wet Coolboot with Cold Pack = 500 grams
(Weight shown is per boot)

Can my horse with CPL use StreamZ Coolboots?

Seek advise from a vet first. A horse with CPL should avoid cooling its legs, as applying reducing leg temperatures can impede the lymphatic system and worsen the condition by hindering lymph flow. This does not relate to magnetism, but specifically to the cooling features within the Coolboot.

We have heard that some people say not to use static magnets on horses with CPL as "magnets increase circulation and blood flow to the affected areas". They say this is achieved by the "iron in blood being highly magnetic and interacting with external magnetic fields".

Clinical studies (on humans, as none are published on horses) show that magnets do NOT increase blood flow.

Monitoring blood flow is very easy using technologies such as ultrasound. Blood pressure readings also show no alternation when static magnets are placed against the body - this too would indicate increased blood flow.

"Magnets increase blood flow" ...it's a myth.

StreamZ make no claim that our technology (which differs greatly to magnets anyway) increase blood flow either.

The question has to be asked as to why magnetic device companies have never carried out (or published!) those studies if they make that claim - most likely as the studies didn't show the results they were hoping for.

Whilst we are not a company who believe magnets offer no help (ie, just a placebo), we do not support claims that traditional magnetic devices when worn by a human/horse increase blood flow. Where does that leave CPL?

Some reports from customers say that when using our bands on their horse with CPL that their legs begin to fill up/puff up. Maybe this is a separate immune response to the technology, as we have seen this in horses with Cushings.

We recommend you consult with a veterinarian if you are unsure.

What materials are used in EQU StreamZ Coolboots?

Various materials are used within the EQU StreamZ Coolboots - this provides both a cooling effect to the horse and use fully breathable material to prevent retaining body heat. Materials which are super absorbent yet retain moisture and Hypo-Allergenic & Antibacterial webbing are also used.

The Coolboots are entirely neoprene-free.

FAQ or Troubleshooting on DOG StreamZ Questions

What is different between StreamZ and other magnetic dog collars?

DOG StreamZ collars introduce 'Advanced Magnetic Technology' for dogs, containing the UK manufactured StreamZ Technology.

StreamZ magnetism uses a specific range of 360° continuous energy fields which creates no heat around the dogs neck: this is crucial in its effectiveness in providing benefit to the dog.

Many dog owners over the years report relief for their dogs arthritic pain from wearing a traditional magnetic collar. These traditional magnetic products create an increase in heat which helps increase blood flow but can only be used short term and in many cases reducing heat is required, not increasing it! (this can be seen in the thermal imaging study carried out using our horse bands and traditional magnetic boots).

StreamZ unique approach does not create heat, can be worn directly after exercise and when your dog is in recovery. The technology is a long term solution and provides non-invasive 'magnotherapy' for your dog.

StreamZ Advanced Magnetism is just that - advanced!

What size are DOG StreamZ collars available in?

We currently manufacturer two sizes of collar. Please note that DOG StreamZ advanced magnetic dog collars can be cut-to-size for the perfect fit. Ensure roughly 5cm is left over when cutting the collar down to size.

Our mini/small collars are just 1.2cm wide and are manufactured to 35cm in circumference. These are ideal for small breeds such as terriers.

Our standard size collars are 1.65cm wide and are manufactured to 55cm in circumference. These are ideal for medium to large breeds.

We currently do not manufacturer collars bigger than 55cm, however, we can sometimes produce collars larger than 55cm upon request. Contact our team today and find out.

Do DOG StreamZ magnetic collars have a breakaway feature?

DOG StreamZ advanced magnetic dog collars do not have a breakaway feature which are often associated with cat collars.

As with any dog collar or harness, remove the collar in active exercise if you are concerned.

The buckle within the DOG StreamZ collar is made from stainless steel.

Can DOG StreamZ collars be attached to a lead?

The silicone bands do not have a d-ring attachment and as such do not connect to a lead.

At just 1.2cm and 1.65cm wide they were developed to be worn alongside collars/harnesses used for walking on the lead.

The collars are thin enough to be worn alongside lead suitable dog collars or harnesses.

Can DOG StreamZ collars be worn alongside traditional magnetic products?

We advise against using StreamZ collars alongside traditional magnetic therapy products.

Traditional magnets work by creating a constant pulse; this pulse (the magnetic field) can damage the StreamZ energy field and as such should not be placed over StreamZ advanced magnetic products.

There are products on the market which provide thermal regulation via jackets and rugs for dogs, which do not use magnetic technology. These products, such as ceramic blankets, can be worn alongside StreamZ and, in our opinion, compliment each other well.

Are DOG StreamZ magnetic collars waterproof?

Yes, they are fully waterproof as they are manufactured using silicone and contain a stainless steel buckle.

Please note, excessive use in salt water or direct sunlight may discolour the silicone. All DOG StreamZ collars are semi-UV protected but are not entirely UV protected, this is due to the chemical used to provide full UV protection being toxic and banned for use in animal products such as collars.

What is the life expectancy of a DOG StreamZ collar?

The life expectancy of each DOG StreamZ collar is between 2 to 3 years, but may be much longer if properly cared for and maintained.

The StreamZ energy field is consistent and does not dissipate; the energy field thus lasts for years. Our inventor used to say “When gravity ends StreamZ will stop working; but you will have far more important things to worry about than your StreamZ band when that happens!”.

The silicone used in the collars are contain non toxic colour pigments and may discolour after prolonged use in direct sunlight but the energy field will not be effected by this. Be wary of cheaper versions.

Warranty and returns on all StreamZ products is 12 or 6 months, from the date of purchase. 12 Months on dog collars.

YOU StreamZ Questions

Should I get a YOU StreamZ Wristband or a YOU StreamZ ankle band?

Our original ANKLE BANDS use super lightweight StreamZ material for extra comfort which is housed in a neoprene sleeve and developed for long term conditions. We recommend our ankle bands are worn for a minimum of 8 hours per day, ideally when sleeping or relaxing. Although they can be used 24x7 many people prefer our wristbands for long term daily use.

Our latest product, the WRISTBANDS are proudly the most advanced magnetic therapy product on the market. Silicone wristbands containing one continuous strip of StreamZ magnetism, worn on either wrist. Ideal for 24x7 use and to support wearers with their ongoing wellbeing and for people with an active lifestyle.

Note: Many customers have reported heightened benefits when wearing BOTH our ankle band and our wristbands together.

What sizes are the wristbands?

Small - 17.5cm
Medium - 19cm
Large - 20.5cm

Measure your wrist and select a wristband slightly SMALLER than your wrist circumference.

On what leg should I wear my YOU StreamZ ankle band?

We recommend that the ankle bands are worn on the left ankle. This is due to our anatomy and how blood leaves the ‘left anterior descending artery’ as it leaves the heart; this is ‘highly oxygenated blood’ and is thought to be more reactive to StreamZ energy fields. Saying that, across thousands of anecdotal reports it would appear that the effects of use are similar when worn on either ankle.

Can I wear the YOU Streamz Ankle Band on my wrist?

YOU StreamZ ankle bands have not been designed to wear on the wrist and may seem too bulky if worn there.

But, have you seen our silicone wristbands. These are suitable for long-term 24x7 use, are fully waterproof and incorporate StreamZ advanced 360º magnetic technology within a silicone wristband. Ideal for all day everyday use or as a booster to our traditional ankle band design.

What are the washing instructions for my YOU StreamZ ankle band?

Only ever wash the bands using cold water. Avoid using hot water or placing in a machine on any setting other than a hand wash (cold) setting. Failure to do so may result in the failure of the fastening hooks.

Are YOU StreamZ Ankle Bands a registered medical device?

No, not since the UK left the European Union in 2020.

The device was initially registered as a CE CLASS 1 medical device under direction 93/42/EEC prior to leaving the EU, but due to changes in regulations devices such as ours are no longer classified as medical devices within the UK. Only devices containing published clinical data can be classified as medical devices.

YOU StreamZ ankle bands make no claim that the product is a medical device or that they can be used for any medical purpose.

How long should I wear the YOU StreamZ Ankle Band for?

If you can, try to wear the magnetic ankle band continuously for at least the first few weeks as you are most likely to then experience the speediest results. As a minimum, you should wear it for 8 hours a day for the first six weeks, and this, of course, could be overnight when our bodies are in ‘recovery mode’.

Optimum effects should be experienced within 20 days, although effects on certain ailments have been found within a few hours and in some longer term degenerative issues can take up to 3-4 weeks.

Many YOU StreamZ converts wear their bands all the time, and wouldn’t be without them! If you are wearing the ankle band for health reasons we’d strongly suggest wearing it for as long as possible. If you are wearing it for recovery after exercise then we’d suggest wearing it for 8 hours minimum after the exercise and when sleeping. (All StreamZ products work best when ‘in recovery mode’)

My YOU StreamZ has made my symptoms worse!

It is technologically impossible for our bio-resonance bands to cause or worsen physical pain, inflammation, or restricted movement.

Our technology operates on very low, non-invasive frequencies designed strictly to support natural cellular balance; it does not possess the mechanism or energy output required to create physical strain, muscle heaviness, or joint restriction.

If you believe it is StreamZ creating a negative side-effects; we suggest you remove StreamZ and try again in a few weeks.

How should I wash my YOU StreamZ Ankle Band?

Only ever wash the bands using cold water. Using hot water or placing in a machine may damage the hooks on the fastening material.
